   Natural marble is a quarried stone with unique veining but high porosity, softness, and tendency to etch from acids (lemon juice, vinegar). Artificial marble sheet is engineered—it offers consistent quality, zero maintenance, stain/acid resistance, and is much lighter per square meter. The trade-off: artificial marble has more uniform veining (though high-definition printed patterns are very realistic), while natural marble has completely random patterns.
