Not every acoustic project calls for wood. PET felt panels give the same noise control benefit in a soft, fabric-like surface that works well for playful, colorful, or minimalist interiors.
Each panel is pressed from polyester fiber, largely sourced from recycled PET bottles, then compressed into a dense felt board. The open fiber structure traps sound waves inside the material rather than letting them bounce off a hard surface, which is what gives felt panels their acoustic effect.
Felt panels take color well, so the range covers everything from muted neutrals to saturated brand colors. Surface patterns include flat tiles, 3D wave textures, and geometric relief designs, giving designers room to build anything from a subtle backdrop to a bold feature wall.
Because the panels are light, most installers use double sided adhesive tape, spray adhesive, or a simple hook and loop mounting system, avoiding the need for heavy tools or wall anchors. Routine care is limited to light dusting or a gentle vacuum brush, since the felt surface does not tolerate wet wiping the way sealed wood panels do.
