Some acoustic projects have to satisfy a fire inspector before they satisfy an acoustician. This panel is built with that order of priorities in mind, pairing a high density fiberglass core with a fire retardant fabric face so absorption performance never comes at the cost of safety compliance.
High density fiberglass is naturally non-combustible, giving the panel body a Class A fire baseline before any surface treatment is added.
The fabric wrap is treated with a flame retardant finish, so the outer surface resists ignition even under direct exposure.
