Deep brown timber has a way of making a space feel established. This board brings that effect to walls in a flat, ready-finished sheet, with a long flowing grain in chocolate and reddish-brown tones and lighter streaks that give the surface depth.

It is part of our bamboo charcoal panel range and is supplied factory direct, either as full-size boards or cut to project dimensions. Because the timber look is created at the factory, there is no sanding, staining or painting to schedule on site.

The face is smooth and flat rather than embossed, so the pattern comes entirely from the grain itself. That keeps the surface simple to wipe clean and lets the wall read as one calm, continuous plane. The slim, layered edge on our sample shows a grey core beneath the grain film, which gives the board a crisp, tidy profile at corners and cut lines.

Where a Dark Timber Wall Works Best

Dark tones reward a little planning. A single feature wall in rich brown, set against lighter walls and a pale ceiling, looks deliberate and warm. Warm lighting brings out the reddish notes in the grain, and neutral furniture keeps the room balanced.

In commercial spaces the same look suits hotel lobbies, reception walls, meeting rooms, restaurant booths and boutique shops, where a deep timber backdrop signals quality at first glance.

How the Layers Are Bonded

The grain film is laminated to the core with imported PUR hot melt adhesive. The bond is firm, so the layers stay together under everyday knocks and changes in room conditions, and the adhesive gives off fewer volatile emissions than many conventional glues.

Fitting, Cutting and Shaping

The board can be cut to size, grooved on the back for crisp 90 degree folds, or heated and bent for rounded corners. Boards can be joined seamless, with T-profile trims, with I-shaped inserts or with natural gaps. On a dark timber wall, T-profile and natural-gap joints add fine shadow lines that emphasize the direction of the grain.

With lengths up to 3 m, one board can often run the full wall height, and the panels can be installed directly on rough walls, which keeps preparation time short.

Care and Ratings

The film surface resists moisture, scratches and scuffs, and it cleans with a damp cloth. The board is E0 grade for environmental performance and B1 grade for flame retardancy, which suits both residential and commercial interiors.
