A 2.4-meter-long panel weighs about 9.6 kilograms, which can be moved by one person. A square meter of natural stone may weigh hundreds of kilograms, requiring cranes, scaffolding and multiple people to carry. Being lightweight is not only labor-saving, but also means lower transportation costs, fewer on-site laborers and a wider range of applicable scenarios.
• It is quick to install. The process of traditional stone dry-hanging or wet pasting is long: cutting, grinding, chopping, masonry, pointing, and waiting for the mortar to dry. PU Castle Stone can be cut with a ordinary woodworking saw, and can be pasted by applying structural adhesive on the back, or fixed with screws for assistance. A skilled construction team can complete a large area in one day. This is a significant advantage in large-scale projects — especially those with tight schedules.

PU Castle Stone can be directly pasted on concrete, brick walls, cement boards and even old tile surfaces, without the need to knock down the original wall and rebuild it. 5.Installation Process

   PU Castle Stone follows the general installation method of PU stone-like decorative panels, which is relatively simple to operate:

• Base treatment: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, flat, free of dust and oil. Concrete, brick walls, cement boards and old tile surfaces are all acceptable.
• Cutting: Ordinary woodworking saw or marble cutting machine can be used to cut the panels with neat cuts.
• Pasting: Apply architectural structural adhesive (polyurethane-based or epoxy-based adhesive is recommended) on the back of the panel and press it onto the wall. Some positions can be reinforced with screws (the screw cap should be sunk into the panel surface).
• Caulking: Weather-resistant sealant can be filled in the panel joints. Whether to leave gaps or make tight joints depends on the design effect; a gap of 3–8mm is usually appropriate.
