What are the common chemical properties of PE sheets?

PE sheet has the characteristics of high toughness, good tensile strength and wear resistance, which can be filled, flame retardant and modified, and the surface can be embossed and frosted. It has a wide range of applications in the fields of chemical industry, clothing, packaging, electronics, food, etc. It is widely used in the production of hoardings for ice hockey rinks, dump truck compartment panels in coal mining areas, and earthmoving vehicle compartment panels.
In addition, the PE sheet also has the characteristics of good corrosion resistance, high strength, high hardness, easy processing and welding, etc. It is widely used in acid-base pools, extraction containers, and other chemical, water treatment, and environmental protection equipment.
In the process of producing PE sheets, manufacturers need to pay attention to the selection of raw materials and the construction process. The raw materials of PE sheets are inert molecular raw materials with poor fluidity, which will bring some troubles to the manufacture of PE sheets, so the selection of raw materials for PE sheets is very important. In order to change the poor fluidity of raw materials, we can add some lubricant raw materials when selecting PE sheet raw materials. The selection of lubricants mainly includes stearic acid and salts. The pe sheet produced in this way has a uniform material and no air bubbles.
The melting point of PE sheet is about 130℃, and the relative density is 0.941~0.960. It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, and good mechanical strength. Dielectric properties and resistance to environmental stress cracking are also good. Melting temperature 220~260C. For materials with larger molecules, the recommended melting temperature range is between 200 and 250C.
PE sheet is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance (the lower operating temperature can reach -70 ~ -100 ℃), good chemical stability, and can resist the erosion of most acids and alkalis (not resistant to oxidation acid), insoluble in common solvents at room temperature, low water absorption, excellent electrical properties; low density; good toughness (also applicable to low temperature conditions); good stretchability; good electrical and dielectric properties; low water absorption ; Low water vapor permeability; Good chemical stability; Tensile resistance; Non-toxic and harmless. However, PE sheet is very sensitive to environmental stress (chemical and mechanical action) and has poor heat aging resistance.
